You probably know
more than you think.

The WINK Works is a guided noticing experience that turns imagery, thoughtful questions and conversation into a memorable moment of connection and personal insight—something visitors can experience here and continue long after they leave.

A WINK experience is typically about 20 minutes and can be offered individually or in small groups. It slips easily into an experience your guests are already enjoying—and because the method is repeatable, they can return to it again or continue it on their own.

WHAT IS THE WINK WORKS?

A mirror, not an answer machine.

We begin with an image and simply notice what catches your attention—a detail, a feeling, a memory, a question, even something you can’t quite put into words yet. From there, I guide the conversation with questions and observations that help you explore what you’re noticing and what it might mean for you.

“I'm not here to tell you what to think. I'm here to help you notice what you know.”

A WINK EXPERIENCE

Simple by design.

01

Start with what's present.

Begin exactly where you are. Notice what has your attention, then let the imagery give you somewhere to look.

02

Choose what draws you in.

Choose an image or detail that draws your attention. There is nothing you need to know, prepare or believe.

03

Look. Talk. Notice.

We explore the imagery together. I ask questions, reflect what I hear and may point out details that invite you to look again. You decide what feels meaningful.

04

Leave with your insight.

One observation leads to another until something connects. The meaning is not assigned to you; the recognition belongs to you.

Imagery→Noticing→Reflection→Insight

IMAGINE A WINK

We go into the image together.

An image comes into view. Suppose the picture shows a woman seated on a throne.

“The first thing I notice is how regal and solid she feels. She’s seated, but there’s something about her that feels like she’s standing in her power. She takes up her space. She seems grounded and completely at home in her own authority.”

Then we go into the image together. What catches your attention? What does her posture suggest to you? Is there a detail, symbol or feeling you keep coming back to?

What draws your attention becomes part of the conversation. I may reflect back what I hear, ask another question, or point to a detail that invites you to look again.

Along the way, you learn a simple way of working with imagery and your own associations. One observation leads to another. We follow what feels meaningful to you.

And then, sometimes: “Ohhh. I knew that.”

That’s the WINK. I see. You see. We explore. You recognize.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE

That little “ohhh.”

The interesting part is the moment you notice something, hear yourself say something, or answer a question and suddenly recognize what has been sitting there all along.

“I hadn't thought about it that way.”

“That was such a great mirror.”

“It reminded me of something I already knew.”

“Oh my God—I didn't see that until we started talking.”

MADE TO FIT THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY

A small experience that can become part of a bigger getaway.

WINK can meet visitors where they already are—at a winery, inn, retreat, downtown event or weekend gathering. A host can offer one experience, a recurring series, or even a take-home journal or worksheet that invites guests to keep noticing as they explore the Valley.

Come once. Come back. Take the practice with you.

YES, IT CAN SCALE

At a large local hospital event, I facilitated groups of roughly 8–12 nurses in approximately 20-minute experiences throughout the day—more than 300 participants in a day. I was invited back the following year, and we did it again.

Based in Pennsylvania's Susquehanna River Valley · Generally serving locations within approximately 20 miles · Professional rate typically begins around $200/hour; event arrangements vary.

A WELCOMING, GUIDED EXPERIENCE

I make it easy for guests to step in.

For more than 20 years, I’ve facilitated conversations that help people slow down, notice what stands out and discover their own insight. WINK is designed to feel comfortable and engaging whether someone arrives curious, skeptical, reflective—or simply ready to try something different.

There is no right answer and no special knowledge required. I guide the process; your guests bring their own perspective. The result is a personal experience that can create conversation, connection and a memorable “I hadn’t thought about it that way” moment.

And because WINK is a simple, repeatable practice, the experience does not have to end when the visit does. Guests can return to it through a journal, worksheet or future WINK experience.
